The Cocopah Casino and Resort south of Yuma, Arizona on US Route 95 is, in our opinion, the best cheap place to RV in Yuma, Arizona. Normally, we look for free RV camping, but the Cocopah is worth the cost to us. It's super close to Yuma, so we can explore all the area has to offer, and offers a few extras with the fee. It is such a pretty and well maintained location. We figure saving on cell data by using their wifi and not having to pay for a dump station is worth the expense of paying to stay a few nights! There is lots of space, and if you are lucky and time it right, you may be able to snag one of the 'special' spots (like we did this last visit) and have a bit of a 'yard'. If you decide to check out the Cocopah, simply enter the grounds at the main entrance. Immediately after, make a right turn and then another right into a parking area. Go though this parking lot to the far side closest to the highway. This is where you enter the RV parking area. You'll see a little 'office', but it's never been open since we've been going there. Choose your spot and get settled in it. Make a note of your lot number and then head into the casino and find the cashier's counter. There you can register and pay your fees, remembering that the longer you stay, the better the nightly rate is. You'll get a permit to display in your RV (and they do check!) and you are good to go!
